to-do list after another of my sister’s wedding showers
It may, perhaps, seem lazy to use this format for the second time in three newsletters. But to-do lists are perpetual. To-do lists are everlasting. To-do lists are prolific; I am constantly writing and editing one. Furthermore, hermit crab essays (in which an essay takes the shape of some other type of writing, like a to-do list or a how-to manual or a choose-your-own-adventure story) are such a fascinating and fun form of creative nonfiction to write.
Close readers may notice that some items on my to-do list persist.
